Synopsis

This is a two-day overview of the Elite Billing System architecture and the tools commonly used for technical administration. The Elite system is a sophisticated, multi-tiered application that includes hardware, operating systems, database engines, 4GL software, Visual Basic programs, web interfaces and bill template servers. This course provides an overview of the system components and a framework for learning how the pieces fit together. The course is designed for system administrators and technical staff from your firm's Accounting and Information Technologies departments. No knowledge of programming or operating systems is required, but it is assumed that participants will be familiar with basic computing and application software concepts. This is an ideal course for newly hired or promoted technical staff that would like to dramatically cut the time required to "get up to speed" on the "nuts-and-bolts". The class will be fun and informative and will present valuable information not easily attained from other sources.
